We are a family owned, custom, golf cart paint shop located in Oldsmar, Fl. We are currently looking for an auto body prep person for our very busy custom paint shop. Responsibilities: Assist painters in all aspects of preparation of the plastic bodies for painting; blocking, sanding, masking, pilling chips, etc. Wet sand and high speed buff freshly painted bodies Work closely with painters mixing paint and prepping parts Maintain a clean and safe work area Treat all customers and employees with a professional attitude and respect at all times Qualifications: Experience is required. Knowledge of cleaning of panels, sanding and filling chips prior to painting Experience in masking and taping, wet sanding and blocking procedures Good communication skills, positive attitude and maturity is a must Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to adjust focus as needed Effective time management and organizational skills with attention to detail is needed Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds Predictable and reliable attendance required This is a great opportunity to work in a stress free environment.
