Pay: $14 - $16 /Hour depending on qualifications and experience
Qualifications: Must be a responsible and organized adult and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). At least two years of custodial maintenance experience is preferred. The individual we seek must be a self-starter able to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Duties: Performs assigned custodial maintenance tasks necessary for the upkeep and cleanliness of Community Center. Duties may include room set-ups and take-downs; floor mopping; floor vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms; trash removal; window washing and other custodial maintenance tasks as assigned. Depending on shift, may assist with closing the building. Keeps records and checklists of tasks performed. Performs all work to the District’s safety and cleanliness standards. Delivers excellent internal and external customer service and works cooperatively with other staff, supervisors and the patrons of the Community Center.
Hours: Weekday, evening and weekend shifts available; approximately 12 to 20 hours per week. May be asked to work other shifts and other days depending on the needs of the Park District.
