GEAR, LLC is currently hiring Demolition workers to tear down and remove structures and building elements, clean up jobsite debris, and make the jobsite ready for new construction work in the Knoxville, TN area. Responsibilities Use of hand tools to remove structures and other building materials that cannot be restored or repaired. Clean up and remove all materials and debris from jobsites Control traffic by placing traffic control signs and directing traffic Provide assistance to heavy equipment operators, helping them place attachments on and move equipment. Operate pumps and use other equipment to facilitate demolition work Unload tools and equipment from trucks and load trash into vehicles and dumpsters Clean tools and equipment used on job sites Skills and Qualification Construction experience not required but preferred Mechanical aptitude Works on operate tools and equipment while remaining alert and maintain communication Hand and power tool experience
