Del Mar Vacations A full-service vacation rental property management company Orleans, MA Landscaper/Gardener Job Description The Landscaper/Gardener is responsible for the execution and management of landscape projects at the 200+ homes under our management, completing these projects with precision and business-minded efficiency, communicating effectively with homeowners, and ensuring our Company standards are consistently met. Responsibilities and Duties Ability to interact with homeowners professionally and effectively in order to help ensure accurate job scope and customer satisfaction Gardening Experience Knowledge of perennials and shrubs preferred planting, pruning, etc. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: loading and unloading trucks, watering plants, weeding, deadheading, planting, pruning, etc. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Maintenance Experience Pruning and trimming, spring clean-ups, fall clean-ups, mulching, etc., experience required. Knowledge of irrigation maintenance and installation preferred. Pesticide applicators license/DOT certification a plus. Equipment maintenance knowledge preferred. Experience with edging, weeding, pruning, and mulching Strong knowledge of trees, shrubs, and plants Strong knowledge of landscaping equipment including power tools Prior Experience Horticulture: 1 year (Preferred) Gardening: 1 year (Preferred) Landscape maintenance: 3 years (Preferred) Mowing: 3 years (Preferred) Job Details Mid-Level Position 6+ years experience preferred Full time/Year-round $25-30 / Hourly Compensation (commensurate with skill and experience) Benefits to include Health Insurance, 401K with Employer Matching, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays Overtime occasionally available in the summer months Why work at Del Mar?
