Driver/Warehouse Staff wanted Must have Valid Driver’s license; no DUI/DWI; no accidents in the last 3 years. Must be able to pass a drug test. Must be comfortable operating standard diesel two axle flatbeds, towing trailers, and operating a warehouse forklift. Must know how to safely load & unload pallets of materials; must know and demonstrate the proper way to safely secure loads of materials for travel, both on the flatbed/stake-side trucks, and trailers. Must provide an ODR (Official Driving Record) from Louisiana OMV that is within the last 30 days, or the equivalent from the state issuing your valid driver’s license, at time of interview. Vinyltech will supply a mobile phone for this position. General construction knowledge is helpful but not necessary. $15.00/hr; no additional benefits are included for this position; fuel is reimbursed with timely receipt submittals each week. Payroll and reimbursement for fuel is paid weekly each Friday. Hours and mileage log will be tracked and verified weekly. General description of duties This job is typically Monday through Friday, ready to work at 7:00 am, self-directed lunches and breaks, and scheduled off by 3:30 pm. Somedays will require overtime. You may be asked to work some Saturdays or Sundays, and scheduled as weekly regular time or, overtime when necessary. Regular hours are a guideline; some days may start/end earlier or later depending on need. This position will report directly to the Superintendents, be guided in daily tasks and scheduling, will pick up and drop off materials at local jobsites, our warehouse, and may be required to make trips to other Vinyltech offices in Lake Charles, Mobile, AL, and Panama City, FL. When not driving, this position is utilized for warehouse organization and clean up, inventorying materials, and sent to jobsites to assist in various project management tasks.
