Hello, I'm looking for oil paintings on canvas to restore--to get more practice doing so and/or to restore and keep. Any "donations" would be most appreciated, or I'm willing to pay if I like the painting and you're selling. If you have a non-precious painting you need restored and you'd like to give a knowledgeable and skilled artist who has tons of restoration supplies but is not a trained conservator/restorer a try, please hit me up. I promise to tell you if I don't think I can handle the job, and the cost will be a lot less than taking it to a professional. I can come to pick up in Brooklyn or nearby, or you can drop off if you prefer. If you're reading this and you happen to be a professional restorer and in need of an apprentice, I'd love to talk and learn from you.
