An open post partum support group for all new mothers. Hosted by Counseling Speaks, LLC. Share your emotions, experiences, and be heard. CALLING ALL NEW MOMS!! Are you finding difficulties adjusting to life with a new baby? Come join our Post Partum Support Group for Women hosted by Counseling Speaks, LLC, where you can share your raw emotions and experiences of post partum with a community of women going through the same change. You are not alone in this new adjustment and women who have already experienced the challenges of post partum before or new moms along this journey for the first time will provide you the best support. This group meets weekly and is intended for mothers of all ages, races, and gender identities. Meetings will include discussion of a topic and opportunity for individual members to request feedback, support, or a chance to practice skills through role-plays. This group is currently being offered at our Park Ridge office, but we hope to expand it again soon at our Chicago, Barrington and Lake Forest offices. Participants will need to complete a 45-minute evaluation prior to enrollment, unless they are already receiving individual treatment at the Counseling Speaks, LLC Groups are held in-person at our Park Ridge office on Tuesdays from 10-11AM and RSVP is required. The cost of each session is $30. Space is limited to 12 participants. The group is an open group. Please be aware that safety guidelines in efforts to mitigate the spread of Coronavirus will be enforced during the event, including wearing a mask and maintaining a physical of distance of at least 6 feet at all times.
