It's the first Vegan Drinks since Covid ripped our community a new one. BYOB and get 10% discounts Tacos, Soul Food & BBQ . Come hang! That's right. Come out at 8p to Kenny Dorham's Backyard to play social games, meet new people and air-five old friends at the first Vegan Drinks of the season, and the first party we've thrown since early 2020. Some really fun rules: Gotta come say hi to get a discount cardGotta wear a mask if you're near people you don't know (like in line?)We're assuming that everyone coming out will be fully vaccinated, and if not, it's because you physically can't do so yet and will be taking extra precautions (full mask-wearing except when eating) We took a poll and LOTS of you are vaccinated, and ready to rock-n-roll, so we figured we'd get the train-a-goin. At 8, we'll have a table set up in the courtyard. Come say HEY and grab your discount card, show it to the person in the window when ordering at Nissi Vegan, Sassy's Vegetarian Soul Food & Bone-a-fide Vegan Bistro! They may be offering special limited menus for our crowd, to make ordering easier and output faster. Everyone wins. When you arrive, we'll give you a name tag and tell you what fun game we're playing. You are not required to play, but believe us, it's even LESS awkward if you do. Our goal of the evening is to meet new people and accumulate opinions about what kind of events to throw for the rest of the year. Come with ideas and they might actually happen. End of the event is 10p to keep it nice and tidy, so please arrive on time-ish. It's not a rager. Sober people are SO WELCOME to this event, in fact, please please come! Kids are welcome as well, but there might not be OTHER kids to play with, so be prepared. BYOB only - we won't be selling anything, and please for the love of all things vegan, please do not share your alcohol with strangers without checking IDs first. Geez I'm so excited, y'all.
