Description
Psychedelic Club of San Mateo is back to host another beach bonfire with live music at Ocean Beach, San Francisco. Free to the public - BYOB Join us once again at the Ocean Beach Fire Pits for a fun night on the beach with Psychedelic Club of San Mateo and DJ RaminØ. We're lighting the fire at 4PM on Saturday, June 19th, 2021 at the fire pit closest to beach access #18. You can join us there, or in the parking lot, until 9:30PM on Saturday. DJ RaminØ will be mixing some live tunes in the parking lot while we roast hot dogs, jiffy pop, and s'mores by the fire. This event is BYOB, however, our club will be providing the following: •firewood •s'mores •jiffy pop •music •vegan hot dogs •buns •condiments •non-alcoholic refreshments •masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer •limited edition, psychedelic infographics •free merch Here's what you should bring: •warm clothes (dress in layers) •a towel •something to sit on (optional) •your own booze •a contribution (also optional - we accept most cryptocurrencies) •your friends (furry friends too) Here's what to expect: •Cool windy conditions during the day that intensify as the sun sets in the evening. The fire will be large and warm but you will notice the difference as soon as you walk away from it. Please dress appropriately by bringing extra layers as it does get a bit chilly on Ocean Beach after sunset. •A group of like-minded individuals who aim to destigmatize psychedelic medicines. There will be food and drinks available as long as supplies last. Also, there will be masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer available upon request. •We are required to inform you that attending in-person events can increase your likelihood of contracting infectious diseases such as Covid-19. If you, or someone you know, is feeling ill or experiencing any symptoms related to Covid-19, please, stay home and contact your trusted healthcare professional. If you are unsure, please stay home and contact your local health authority. Masks, hand sanitizer, and gloves will be provided upon request. We appreciate your understanding regarding this matter and look forward to seeing you at our big event. ***UPDATE 5/14/2021***More details to follow*** ***UPDATE 5/25/2021***There will be a maximum capacity of 50 people at this event. This means that at any one time there can only be 50 people congregated together for both the bonfire and the DJ performance. That being said, we can accommodate many more people as long as there are constantly people "coming and going". Of course, we highly recommend that everyone practices social distancing by remaining six feet apart and by wearing a mask (even though it is not strictly mandatory). Other than that, everything is going as planned and we are on schedule for an amazing evening at Ocean Beach. Thank you for your interest and, please, stay tuned for more updates related to our Juneteenth Beach Bonfire.
