The summer solstice, also known as estival solstice or midsummer, occurs when one of the Earth's poles has its maximum tilt toward the Sun. Because, let's face it, Canton Street is just too dang crowded these days! Join me/us on Friday June 18 for another $5 Friday DJ session. Once again we'll be at Oak Street Bottle Shop in Roswell, one of my favorite places to go chill on Friday night. They basically throw open their doors and let bands and DJs come play music in their parking lot while they serve wine and beer all night. They've got an extensive beer selection and Friday's all beers are just $5. We're also going to set up our new photo box - Self Portrait Southeast (www.selfportraitse.com) - so you can snap a new LinkedIn profile photo. Registration is not required! It's just here is only to help us know how many people to expect. And Oak St. is kid friendly if you want to bring the little ones. I'll get a few Moana and Frozen tracks in the mix for all our little princesses and demi-gods out there. Hope to see you there!!!
