Join us for a QTBIPOC Sunset Hike! This hike will be low intensity with little elevation gain. All skill levels are welcome on this short low intensity hike. We will be meeting at the Old Mission Dam Trail head. The loop is1.8 miles. The loop passes landmarks, oaks along a dry riverbed, rolling hills, and a river crossing. We will be going at a casual pace and focusing on catching up, and meeting new folks on this hike. We welcome all bodies, skill levels and folxs who identify as QTBIPOC (QUEER TRANS BLACK INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF COLOR). Our goal as Queering The Path is to create a safe affirming space for Queer Trans folx of Color to enjoy themselves in, learn new skills and create community. PARKING- Be sure to Park OUTSIDE of the gates and walk to the mission trails dam. Because this is a Sunset hike, the gates may close at 7pm. This trail is located on the East side of Mission Trails Regional Park. WHAT TO BRING- Plenty of WATER, Good trail shoes, (trail running shoes are okay as we will not be gaining much elevation), Snacks, a headlamp or flashlight is recommended in case it is dark when walking back to our cars. Hat and Sunscreen are also advised. We look forward to seeing you all again on the trails and resuming our outdoor meetups!
