Heavy Equipment Rental Company is looking to add a Rental Utility Person for our Bakersfield branch. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Preparation of new and used units for delivery. Touch up paint Securing decals Adding attachments Check-in and check-out all rental units and accessories including paperwork and photos. Wash, steam clean, and fuel all units. Perform small repairs change cutting edges teeth hoses head plates lights that are defective. Welding and torch Maintain fleet in the yard by checking oil, water, and start-up machines Responsible for the equipment in the yard in regard to location, general yard maintenance Perform monthly housekeeping inspections each month by the 15th. Assist in administrative duties/paperwork as assigned. Keep work area and rental fleet storage area clean and orderly. Deliver and pick up attachments as needed. Install and remove attachments. Other duties may be assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required at all times. Knowledgeable in the operation, maintenance and basic repair of earthmoving and general equipment. Capable of frequently lifting up to 40 pounds. Safety conscious attitude toward all assigned tasks. Top notch customer service. Ability to perform tasks independently without direct supervision. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
