Westport Announces Spring 2021 Paving Schedule

WESTPORT, CT — Public Works Director Peter Ratkiewich announced Tuesday the town's spring paving program has commenced, and the parking lots of the Westport Library and the Westport Center for Senior Activities have already been completed. According to a news release, the program will continue through mid-June, during which a number of local roads and properties will be paved. The following roads in town are scheduled to be paved: Railroad PlaceFranklin StreetFerry LanePartrick RoadClinton AvenueSaxon LaneTimber LaneMoss LedgeDawn DriveGreens Farms RoadMaple Ave NorthOnce paving of these town roads is complete around mid-June, the following Westport Public Schools properties will be paved: Greens Farms ElementaryLong Lots Elementary (partial repaving)Bedford Middle School Entrance Drive and Wakeman Farm RoadColeytown Elementary"The town is pleased to collaborate on shared services with the Westport Public Schools so that paving can be done on both town and school properties this summer," Ratkiewich said in a news release. "We look forward to more collaboration on maintenance and facilities management in the future."
