Press release from the Milford Public Library: May 24, 2021 - 4:46pm June News at the Library!   We're back to our regular hours! Beginning June 1 we return to our pre-pandemic schedule, and are welcoming back small, in-person programs such as our book discussion groups.  It's starting to feel a bit more normal, but masks and social distancing are still required, as they are in every City building.    In addition to a full calendar of events, June also brings summer reading programs!  We host programs for everyone, preschool to seniors! Stop by the library, or check our website for how to sign up and earn prizes.   Our Friends of the Library want to help our younger readers get a jump on summer reading material and have been busy planning a SPECIAL Children's Books Booksale.  The sale will be held outside the lower level entrance of the Library, rain or shine, on Saturday, June 19, 9:00am-4:00pm. All books will be $2.00. Library staff will be on hand to register children for our popular "1,000 Books Before Kindergarten" program, as well as early bird summer reading sign-up for those entering grades K-5.            Beginning June 1, our schedule will be: Monday: 10:00 - 5:00Tuesdays: 10:00 - 8:30 Wednesdays: 10:00 - 8:30 Thursdays:  10:00 - 8:30 Fridays: 1:00-5:00 Saturdays: 10:00 - 5:00 Curbside pick up service is available on Wednesdays.
