IMPORTANT! - You will support our painting crew to load/unload materials, cover surrounding cars, and direct traffic. Additional responsibilities are listed below, but you will be working a 8-hour+ day outside to support our paint crew paint an outdoor mural. We'll request you to sign our Freelance Agreement, along with W-9 before confirming you for the job. You will be paid via direct deposit. This position is $15/hour, with no overtime pay. Thank you! ------------------------ Core responsibilities: - Assist the crew with any loading and unloading of materials at the time of job start or job completion (this includes paint) - Put on car covers to avoid paint spilling or dripping as production unfolds, and also ensure the car covers stay intact in windy conditions - Monitor the surrounding work area, especially if there is a lift in use, to help the job lead navigate around tight parameters - Carefully monitor pedestrian or other vehicle activities in the area to keep a safe distance away from our working area - Regularly check for any paint spills and wipe away before paint dries to prevent damage to the vehicles - Stay in close contact with lead on the job to coordinate start times for each day Requirements: - Flexibility to take on work when it becomes available - Commitment for scheduled dates based on each job - Ability to endure weather conditions for a long period of time (~10 hours), whether low temps or rain - Construction work experience ideal but not required
