Great Mall in Milpitas, CA is the largest indoor value shopping mall in Northern California. We are looking for a skilled maintenance technician to join our team. We are the former Ford Motor Company Manufacturing Plant so nothing is typical here at the Great Mall. We offer a unique challenge for someone with a huge pocket full of common sense, committed to doing the job right, willing to do what it takes, when it takes, the ability to follow direction and provide informed, valuable feedback. Are you experienced with or have an understanding of a various trades in commercial and retail maintenance operations? We are looking for someone with a variety of skills and willingness to learn more. This position will focus largely on exterior landscaping and maintenance, clean-up, painting, sheetrock repair and a variety of other tasks as directed. Desired working knowledge and/or skills include: *Landscaping *Property cleaning/shopping cart collection/pallet collection, (yes, cleaning. We all clean here. Even me!) *Painting *Sheetrock *HVAC *Fire/sprinkler/life safety *Mechanical *CCTV Camera/wifi/Networking/Cabling *Inventory and equipment control *Property inspections *Electrical *Plumbing *Carpentry *Able to walk 5 miles a day. We are a shopping mall. *Excellent customer service skills *Conflict resolution skills Must work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. Rotating schedule will depend on skills and ability of entire staff. Typical Hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, but will work rotation night shifts including Saturdays and Sundays. Occasional overnight work for holiday décor set up and take down or special projects.
