About Pestec Pestec is a family owned company that has been providing pest control services to Bay Area clients for over 30 years. We specialize in Integrated Pest Management (IPM), which focuses on pest prevention, use of reduced risk control methods, and educating our clients. Because the demand for our specialized services continues to grow, we are looking to bring on new team members for our Mosquito Abatement Courier (MAC) team. About the Role As the MAC team driver, you will be driving throughout San Francisco to: -Meet the team to deliver materials and ensuring everyone is prepared for the day's work You may also need to cover for others on the team and do a small portion of the route. You will: -Inspect the storm drains -Treat storm drains that contain standing water -Paint the curb above the storm drain to mark as being surveyed -Record the data for monitoring, evaluation, and collaboration Watch the video below to see a day in the life of the MAC team. Skills and Qualifications -At least 18 years of age -US Citizen or a valid Authorized Work Permit -Valid CA Driver’s License -Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English -Basic computer knowledge; capable of learning new software programs quickly -Must be able to carry a 10 lb. pack -Must be able to bend down 300-400 times daily -Must be punctual and reliable; Pestec enforces a strict attendance policy and unexcused absences are not tolerated; Work is 5 days per week from 7:30am-4:30pm -Must be physically healthy About You -You love being outside and working with a team -You exhibit and maintain a high level of efficiency and dependability while working independently in this casual and cooperative environment Details of Position -This position is seasonal and will end in the late fall -Position based out of our San Francisco headquarters (Bayview) -Medical and dental benefits, accrued sick pay, and paid holidays -Members who live in the East Bay are eligible for free transit to SF How to Apply Fill out an application at OR Reply with your resume as a Word document or PDF.
