5K RUN/WALK event to support individuals and families in recovery from substance use and mental health concerns.
Join the 5K Bird Walk for Recovery and work to end stigma surrounding substance use disorder. September is National Recovery Month and recovery walks such as these helps support the recovery community and put an end to the shame and stigma that prevents a person from seeking treatment.
This is our 5th year for the 5K Bird Walk for Recovery and that makes it special. Since 2016 your continued support allowed us to donate funds to the Salvation Army ARC for two consecutive years, Shatterproof RiseUp Against Addiction and Overdose Lifeline. We are proud to support their vision of Recovery for All.
International Overdose Awareness day is 8/31. Overdose Awareness day is a global event held each year to raise awareness and reduce the stigma of a drug-related death. Register by August 1st to receive a free purple light bulb to help illuminate your street and send a simple message of support and hope for those affected.
Because we understand that Addiction affects everyone but so does recovery.
