Press release from the City of Cedar Falls: May 21, 2021 In recognition of the upcoming Memorial Day holiday, the below Cedar Falls City facilities will observe the following hours: City Hall: Closed May 31 Hearst Center for the Arts: Closed May 31 (please note, the Hearst Center is always closed on Mondays) Cedar Falls Public Library: Closed May 31 Cedar Falls Community Center: Closed May 31 Cedar Falls Visitor Center: Closed May 31 The Cedar Falls Recreation and Fitness Center: Open May 29 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Open May 30 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Closed May 31. Opening day at The Falls Aquatic Center will be May 29 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. They will be open on May 30 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on May 31 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Season passes for The Falls are available now at the Rec Center only (there is no pro-rate amount for purchase made after May 29.) A reminder that the Cedar Falls Public Library is currently offering curbside service only through June 11, 2021, due to new carpet installation in the building.
