Description
SAN RAFAEL, CA — Most nonessential San Rafael services will be closed Friday amid city-approved furloughs, officials said.
The furloughs are a cost-cutting measure the City Council approved amid coronavirus-related revenue shortfalls, officials said.
Public safety will not be affected by the furloughs. All essential police and fire essential services will remain fully operational during all furlough days.
Regular parking enforcement schedules will remain in effect.
The 13-day furlough schedule is effective through the end of the fiscal year.
