We are seeking a Maintenance Person for our residential apartments in Columbia, SC.
This includes a great variety of tasks such as painting, PTAC/HVAC repairs and installations, groundskeeping, etc. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly.
Skills Preferred:
-Ability to do drywall and painting
-Basic plumbing
-Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
-Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
-Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
-Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
-Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
MUST Have:
-A valid driver's license & own transportation
-High school diploma or equivalent
Compensation: Varies based on skills and experience - range of $17-20/hour
