Reward Offered In Fatal Shooting Of Sandhill Crane

LAKE COUNTY, IL — A $2,500 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of a person accused of fatally shooting a sandhill crane earlier this month. It's believed the crane was shot in Lake Villa in the area of the Sun Lake Forest Preserve on May 15, according to officials with Flint Creek Wildlife and Rehabilitation.
