No Injuries, Property Damage Caused In Livermore Vegetation Fire

LIVERMORE, CA – No one was injured, and no property sustained damage in a vegetation fire that started in unincorporated Livermore early Monday afternoon, CalFire officials said on Tuesday. Firefighters from the Alameda County Fire Department, Livermore-Pleasanton and Cal Fire were called to the area of Altamont Pass and Goeken Road just before 1 p.m. on Monday, officials said. Once there, crews found between a half-acre and acre burning and were able to contain the fire to 1.7 acres, a CalFire spokesman said. Today at 12:51 PM, ACFD, LPFD, and CAL FIRE responded to a vegetation fire threatening structures in unincorporated Livermore at Altamont Pass & Goecken Roads. Crews arrived to find approximately 1/2 to 1 acre burning. Crews held the fire to 1.7 acres.
