Wanted: Tube amp repair in Polk County.

Description

I have a 1966 Guyatone GA620 that I bought at a yard sale. It’s a great looking project amp that I want to have inspected and repaired before I power it up. This amp is all original and I think worth saving. The speaker has been disconnected from the transformer and has a small tear in it. I would probably replace it with a modern equivalent and have the original rebuilt. Everything other than that looks to be in working order, no burnt or discolored areas. I would like to have it gone over and replace any bad electrical components that need to be replaced.( caps, resisters etc.) I have not plugged it in because I know bad things can happen if some of this stuff is not taken care of first. I have cleaned it up including the reverb tank and hand wired boards. If you would like to take on a project like this please contact me and let’s talk. My end goal is to make this a great sounding gigging amp without spending more than it’s worth. I’m not in any big rush so this could be spare time project if need be.
