It was just a short two second glance but it froze me in time.
The swirl of humanity at the Fremont Experience just faded into background blur in that moment where there was just you and I. Your girlfriends all turned away from you as you lingered in that glance with me. Standing smiling at me. For just a brief moment my imagination brought you into a private embrace as I caressed your back, drew deep breaths of your perfume and lost myself in time with you.
The chaos of the crowd returned and your girlfriends swept you away, as you turned your head slightly to wink, flipped your hair and dared me to follow you. But I didn’t.
I can only hope that we meet again and this time I will follow.
