Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 05/25/2021 211450776 Preliminary Information: On 5/25/21 around 12:30 pm, officers responded to 265 Peachtree ST NE in reference to a male shot. Upon arrival, officers located a male who sustained a gunshot wound. The male was transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition. Two off duty ATF officers were already on scene when the shooting occurred and was able to detain the suspect. Responding APD units took custody of the suspect, recovered the firearm and established a crime scene.  Additional charges are pending. Preliminary investigation indicates the incident occurred outside of the location. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.   Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.
