I’m looking to find Max a new home I feel like I owe it to him to look for the RIGHT FIT. Max is 3/4 German Shepherd and 1/4 blue heeler. He is just a few weeks shy of 8 months old. And is a BIG boy! He is of course full of energy and is so smart. He is up to date on shots, has been through a 8 week obedience class and is not fixed. The reason for rehome is I’m hoping to find him a home that has more room for him but most importantly he needs a job. He deserves to be a farm dog or have some other type of job or a busy owner. He deserves to be able to run, protect and have things to do. We simply can’t offer those things to the extent he needs. We have cats and he is fine with them. He likes to torment them but he dosnt hurt them. We have two kids and he also enjoys to tournament them. He has ALWAYS been mouthy. Not really biting but nips and jumps when he’s excited. He needs a home with older or no children. He just dosnt know his size. He is a very stubborn dog and needs more training. Someone who knows what they are doing with his breeds. Max is kennel trained while we work, but is in the house lose at night. If he’s lose while outside he will wonder but not run off. He gets along well with other dogs as well as he they are introduced properly. Max listens best to men. He is on his best behavior when my husband is home but dosnt listen well to me. He is still a puppy. He needs toys and things that he’s allowed to chew on or he will chew on things. If anyone thinks they are a good fit for Max please message me!
