Checking to see if there are any Baby Boomers out there on the east side (general Macomb County area) looking to meet some new people and play some music? Female vocalist, rhythm and bass guitarist and drummer are looking for a few additional band members. We meet on a weekly basis, whether or not we’ve got upcoming gigs. We’re not really interested in booking more than once or twice a month and would prefer to play at city-sponsored events, festivals, car shows, arts and crafts fairs, private and corporate parties, holiday celebrations and the like. Indoor and outdoor venues are welcome, as are shows at VFW’s, K of C’s and Elks and Moose Clubs. We’d prefer to leave the bar gigs to the “kids” whenever possible. Current needs are for a KEYBOARD PLAYER and LEAD GUITARIST. A TENOR SAXOPHONE PLAYER might also be interesting. It’s all about “the fit”. Back-up vocals are always a plus. No room or time for stress, drama or over-inflated egos. We just want to play some music and have a little fun in a very relaxed atmosphere. Genres will be determined once we establish the make-up of the group. In the past we’ve covered southern rock, country, classic rock, some blues, and a little acoustical.
