Mr. Handyman of Clairemont is a growing residential and commercial improvement, maintenance and repair company looking to add to our team. Specific Responsibilities: - Complete small to medium repairs and improvements in residential homes and commercial buildings - Communicate with customers about scope of work and cost estimates - Collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed - Keep company supplied vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition; supplied with normal stock material - Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required - Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions Job Requirements: - Skilled tradesman with 5+ years of experience in home and commercial maintenance/repair projects - Carpentry background - Proficiency with diagnosing customer concerns: estimate pricing - Must own most tools fit for many job types - Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology - Team player who can work independently - A valid drivers' license with clean driving record - Pre-hire testing for criminal and drug/substance abuse - Pre-hire reference checks Our Company Features: - Professionally marked, company-supplied vans - Includes auto liability and workman's comp insurance - Includes gas and basic materials expense - Payroll employees, not subcontractors - Salary plus bonus (23.00 to 25.00 per hour - based on experience) Repairs Include: - Grout, Tile Floors, Walls, Rotted Wood, Ceilings, Decks, Doors, Drywall, Siding, Gutters - Tub, Shower, Caulking, Doors, Decks, Fences, Gutter Cleaning, Locksets & Deadbolts, Windows, Screens Carpentry: - Cabinets, Molding, Trim, Shelving, Ramps, Railings, Grab bars, Attic Vents Odd Jobs: - Pressure Washing, Weatherproofing, Tile Work, Assembly, and more Cities we serve: La Jolla, Bird Rock, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, Clairemont, Bay Park, Morena, Kearny Mesa, Linda Vista, Mission Valley, Serra Mesa
