We are currently seeking individuals to meet the growing demand for our contents’ division to able to provide excellent service to our clients. Packer/Driver - Job Description: This position is responsible for performing offsite residential and commercial packing duties as well as helping with residential and commercial moves, and warehouse duties as needed. Packer Duties may include: · Pack basic items · Wrap and pack everyday items such as dishes, silverware, lamps, shades, small pictures & mirrors · Wrap furniture with blankets to prevent damage · Maintain clean and organized work environment at all times · Load and unload vehicles by hand or by use of hand truck or dolly · Assist in preparing truck, tools, materials, and equipment · Deliver and stack shipment on customer’s premises and/or in onsite storage. · Paperwork and inventory as directed · Additional reasonable duties as directed by supervisor. Mover /Driver Duties may include: · Prepare loaded vaults, unloading material · Prepare packing cartons and bags for mattress · Disassemble and wrap beds, cribs, dressers, Hutch, Dining tables, etc. · Use dollies, four-wheelers, lift-gates, walk-boards, etc. · Properly wrap furniture as directed · Direct drivers in backing-up the trucks as needed · Demonstrate proper labeling including special instructions · Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning out trash and recycling containers of cardboard from storage vaults and trucks as needed. · Assist with duties at other location as needed. ·Additional reasonable duties as directed by supervisor Qualifications: · Class C Driver’s license preferred · Works well in a team environment · Ability to comprehend and implement oral instructions quickly · Ability to effectively communicate with fellow employees and/or customers Physical Demands: These physical activities are essential to the job occasionally to frequently. Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, balancing, stooping/bending, reaching, handling, etc. · Must be able to lift and carry 80-100 lbs. · Required to stand and walk for long periods of time · Required to work outside in either hot or cold climate for extended periods of time · May be required to work additional hours/overtime. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience. Schedule: Day shift Monday through Friday Qualifications US work authorization (Required) Driver's License (Preferred)
