Description

I am looking for a suitable home for a Chihuahua who has a quirky attitude and particular needs. She is a 13 month old fawn colored deerhead pure Chihuahua, who weighs 3.8 lbs, fully grown. Due to her tiny size, she sometimes feels the need to prove she is still a dog, making her an excellent watchdog, showing loyalty to her owner, however, intimidated by strangers. She needs a home without small children because she is very delicate. She needs an owner who is at home a lot. Tea cups are high maintenance type dogs that are companion dogs. She loves car rides. She likes to fetch and retrieve as much as you are willing. She likes sleeping under her blanket. She loves her toys and her bones, but, it is not so easy to find ones small enough for her size! She needs an owner with a decent, steady income, as she is rare and special and used to being pampered. She is used to having a variety of treats daily, as well as fresh chicken, also food from the the pet store. She is super smart and when she wants to tell you "yes" to a question, or let you know that she wants something, she will communicate this by touching the tip of her nose to your nose or another part of your body. It can mean that she needs water or food, wants to play with toys, wants a treat, needs to go to the bathroom, wants you to lift your shirt so she can sleep inside, sometimes it means "thank you", but, because she knows a lot of words and is used to being talked to a lot, it usually means "yes" to a question that you have asked her. It will take her some time to get used to her new owner. I have had her since she was 7 weeks old and regardless of continual attempts at socialization, she is just an independent dog who will prefer one to two owners. She is fully vaccinated and will come with a lot of belongings, bed, toys, food, treats, disposable puppy pads, carrying backpack. She finds a lot of security with her toys and other belongings. She is potty trained to go outside, but you also must be diligent about remembering to take her. It is best to also always keep a disposable puppy pad indoors. She is an indoor pet and trained to use a puppy pad, as well. She also expects someone to be next to her while she eats her food, or sometimes she won't eat and her super tiny body frame can not afford to lose a single ounce! I am also asking a rehoming fee of $500.00. her name is La La, (pronounced Law-Law). Her personality is quite entertaining and will provide you with plenty of laughs. I would prefer her to go to a home with someone who is familiar with the Chihuahua breed, because she has a particular, unique personality that only someone who is already familiar with Chihuahuas can understand and appreciate. When I find the right home for her, I will wash all of her belongings, so everything is clean and fresh upon arrival.
