FARRAH is a sweet and beautiful cat, about 4 years old. As her name suggests, she could be a model! Most of the day, she prefers to be curled up in a secluded spot -- under the bed, in her cat carrier, in a closet. When she wakes up, she politely requests scratches, purring quietly in approval. (Farrah was declawed by her previous owner, so she needs a little extra help scratching that itch!) She is definitely a cuddler and loves to be near the humans, but she also is comfortable being on her own for a few hours at a time. Farrah was previously in a home that could no longer give her the care she needed. She can be shy at first, but warms up quickly and will give as much love as she wants to receive. In her foster home, she took about a week to get fully comfortable. Farrah is currently cohabiting with a young, playful, medium-sized dog. She is fairly confident around him. When he is very excited (like when she enters a room), she finds a place to hide. When he is calm, but too close for her comfort, she is quick to let him know what her boundaries are, swatting him gently if he gets within reach. On the whole, she seems like she would prefer a dog that is a little mellower if possible, or at least making sure that she has a space that is just her own so she can retreat if she'd like. It is unknown how she is with other cats, but she would likely be happiest as the only kitty, absorbing all of your attention. Farrah is a sweet, quiet lady who will be a great addition to your home.
