IRRIGATION SUPERVISOR SUMMARY: Supervise and coordinate irrigation maintenance, installation, and repairs. Manage computer based irrigation schedule using technical skills associated with weather based schedule ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Practices pro active water management by daily monitoring computer based irrigation schedule, maintaining valves and sprinklers for efficient operation Proficiently operate Rain Bird Site Control computer based irrigation program Make necessary adjustments to irrigation program by understanding technical computer data and current site conditions Monitor irrigation field conditions to include: water pressure at sprinkler heads, sprinkler coverage, sprinkler head height, and plumb sprinkler position. Perform and Monitor complete station by station irrigation inspections and create a report with a proposal for resolution. Trouble shoot electrical problems in large 2-wire systems using computer diagnostics and electrical reading int the field Purchases parts required to repair, or renovate irrigation systems while maintaining accurate inventory and strict cost controls to ensure job performed within required financial requirements. Gather and update historical data for each account regarding waters sources, point of connection and mainline location, services performed, and parts installed. Drives crew to/from/between worksites when/where needed. Monitors crew’s compliance with quality and safety standards. Monitors proper use of required personal protective equipment on crew. Fill out daily paperwork including: time sheets, daily activities, and repairs. Ensures irrigation jobs are managed within budget to meet or exceed all required financial performance metrics. Reviews and monitors equipment maintenance programs and upkeep of vehicles used to service clients in designated area. Directly supervise 1-3 associates on crews.
