Reno Staffing is looking for a Maintenance Techs for a residential company! This is a fantastic direct hire position in the Reno/Sparks area. SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri, 7am-4PM OR 8AM-5PM (not on-call) PAY: $20/HR-$28/HR DOE LOCATION: Reno-Sparks area JOB SUMMARY- Maint. II The Maintenance Technician II will be responsible for cleanup, repair and replacement of various household items for Tricon vacant properties, to ensure a safe and attractive living environment for residents. RESPONSIBILITIES Courteous and prompt communication and management Install new appliances Clean/replace faucets, sinks, drains, toilets, water heaters, disposals and sump pumps to include minor plumbing repairs Caulk and grout, as needed Test for current, replace receptacles and GFCI’s Replace light fixtures, ceiling fans switches, outlets and perform other minor electrical work Repair/install strikers, latches, hinges, door knobs, locksets and lockboxes Repair/replace/rescreen window screens Install pre-hung doors and repair/install windows, panes and blinds Replace baseboards, door casings and moldings Install/repair cabinet doors, hinges and fixtures Clear condensate lines and pans Clean dust, plants and debris around condensing unit to include replacing air filter and thermostat Spray for bugs/Indoor foggers Patch holes touch up and paint properties Consistently maintains a clean work environment Captures timesheets and work orders correctly Accurately utilize technology (inventory tracking system, company vehicles, etc.) to drive productivity and continuous improvement for maintenance service delivery QUALIFICATIONS Skilled in installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of household appliances, plumbing, electrical and miscellaneous household items Ability to work on-call and overtime hours, as needed Ability to correspond (in writing and verbally) effectively with team members and vendors Work safely, wearing PPE’s REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED 4 years maintenance/construction background Must be able to work in environmentally and physically challenging working conditions Must be able to lift objects weighing 50lbs or more regularly A Drug test will be required for this position by the client prior to starting and will include THC. III The Maintenance Technician III will be responsible for repair and installation of HVAC systems as well as circuit breakers for vacant Tricon properties to ensure a safe and attractive living environment for residents. RESPONSIBILITIES • Respond to service requests in a professional and timely manner • Communicate clearly, compassionately, and with empathy when speaking with internal team members, vendors and residents • Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with residents and vendors • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems • Replace circuit breakers • Consistently maintains a clean work environment • Captures timesheets and work orders correctly • Accurately utilize technology (inventory tracking system, company vehicles, etc.) to drive productivity and continuous improvement for maintenance service delivery QUALIFICATIONS Skilled in repair and maintenance of HVAC systems Experience with replacing circuit breakers Ability to work on-call and overtime hours as needed Accurately utilize technology (inventory tracking system, company vehicles, etc.) to drive productivity and continuous improvement for maintenance service delivery Ability to correspond (in writing and verbally) effectively with team members and vendors REQUIREMENTS • High school diploma or GED • HVAC Certification • Skilled in installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of household HVAC systems and miscellaneous household items A Drug test will be required for this position by the client prior to starting and will include THC.
