Description

The position is responsible for the safety, health and well-being of animals housed at the Exotic Game Ranch. High school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in a zoo, wildlife preserve, veterinary clinic or working in a related field; Experience with animals, including but not limited to hoof stock, rhinos, giraffes, carnivores, primates, macropods and neonates; Knowledge of animal care in captive situations and related handling techniques; Experience with animal restraint; Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions; Ability to work effectively with peers and management; and Commitment to excellence in work products and relationships with co-workers. *Texas Disposal Systems is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
