Expanding, nationally recognized company has position available for Mitigation Technician to deliver rapid response within their community when disaster strikes and property is damaged. The Right Person for this position brings a sense of urgency, compassion and professionalism when deployed in the field, taking pride in seeing a project through to completion on time and on budget. We are currently building a team of successful professionals for the Louisville market from our office in Shelbyville. Responsibilities: Execute well-defined protocols regarding water damage to property. High level performance of water mitigation, tarping, board up, mold remediation, asbestos/lead abatement and carpet cleaning/reinstallation services according to industry specifications under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager. Focused on, and dedication to, excellent customer service. Maintain a clean, properly stocked and organized truck, and maintain all company equipment. Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule. Assist in warehousing and facility-related tasks when necessary. Qualifications: Able to demonstrate experience in the management of construction designs, budgets and schedules. Experience in delivery of projects on-time and on-budget. Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with superiors, co-workers, clients and subcontractors. Able to provide oversight and direction to junior staff. Travel as required to fulfill position and project responsibilities. Desire to join a world-class team and contribute a positive attitude. Experienced in customer service. Fluent in English. Clean criminal background check. Ability to pass a drug test. Valid driver's license with a clean record. Have the ability to work nights/weekends and overtime, if needed. Ability to lift 75 LBS frequently. Interested in learning new things.
