Must be able to play quietly with a motor on. Looking for Al Jackson Jr., Andy Niemark or even Ringo. Must have the right intent; no showy stuff, no attention seekers. Mostly straight stuff and 6/8 feels. Hillsong, Bethel, etc. Some originals and a chance to visit and play other churches occasionally. Situation is unique. Nice jungle kit available--Tama 22”, Ludwig Supraphonic snare, Rogers 13”, Unknown Japanese mahogany 16”, Paiste 24” 2002, Zildjian mastersound or Paiste hats, Paiste 2002 crash and I know how to keep them tuned. No earbuds; live monitor system like in a club. No shields or aquariums either. You’ll be working with other players who listen. $50 a service. Rehearse at 9:30 AM; service at 11:00. Mid week rehearsal optional and unpaid. Church is on Halsey in Portland a ½ mile east of the 205.
