Production Worker Hauppauge, NY $15.00 per hour Production worker needed for general assembly work. Machinery, measuring, drilling and assembly. Hours are 7am-3:30pm Experience with the drill. Experience in construction a plus++ but not necessary Email with contact info & a resume (or brief work experience summary) Requirements • Must speak, read, and understand basic English to understand and communicate paperwork and labels • Must be able to work overtime when needed • Production workers expected to be available to work in all areas of production when needed • Flexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional overtime on Saturdays) • At least one year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility. Physical Requirements • Ability to squat, crouch, bend, twist, lift, pull, reach, and walk frequently every day • Ability to grasp and squeeze small parts and large items • Ability to stand on concrete, wearing safety boots, for up to 12 hours per day • Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. repeatedly throughout a shift • Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.). The production area is not climate controlled and certain areas are hot or cold depending on the machinery being operated and the season. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
