Thank you for considering the opportunity to be a full-time caregiver to our son (who is almost 1 year old!) This position guarantees a minimum of 50 hours per week. Position can be live-in or live-out. We are looking for an engaging, child-focused individual who is willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts and other activities, and provide an attentive and safe care environment for our son. Responsibilities would include everything related to our son including doing his laundry, meal prep, preparing baby bottles, diaper changes, bath time, and play time. We do not need housework or meal prep beyond what’s needed for our son. This is a serious long-term position for qualified candidates as we’re hoping to have you with us as our son gets older and our family grows over time. Start date is immediate. Qualifications: - Be extremely reliable and responsible - Have full-time availability Monday-Friday 8:30am-7pm. We are open to both live in or live out. - 5+ year(s) nanny experience, preferably including toddler - Passion for working with children - Must have own transportation to get to work - Must be legal to work, willing and able to pass a background check. All references will be verified. - Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 - CPR trained preferable, but not required Please note we currently live in Jericho, NY but are planning to return to Manhattan sometime in the fall of this year. You must be willing to commute to Jericho while we’re still here and NYC once we move. Benefits and compensation: - Salary is competitive and depends on whether you want live in or live out and number of hours you want to work. We are asking for a minimum of 50 hrs/week. You have the option to work later to put the baby to bed and/or on weekends to earn additional income. - Paid vacation days - Holiday bonus pay
