We are a commercial maintenance company in business for 35 years serving the entire Sacramento area. We have offices all throughout the US all individually owned. We are currently are looking for an Area Manager for our Custodial Department that can oversee and confirm that our staff is doing their job effectively and efficiently. Area Managers oversee the cleaning duties and ensure the office or establishment is clean and sanitary and any and all locations we service. This role is maintaining the schedules of their staff, completing tasks for that day, and forecasting duties for the day/week. Area Managers will also be in charge of training Supervisors, new staff, and have the ability to multi task. We have Quality Control programs that must be used and implemented daily with all staff, but managed by this position. Oversee custodial cleaning activities and provide overall direction for Custodial Supervisors and Custodial Employees Please note this is position is a Monday to Friday, evening shift, with an average start time of 4:00 pm. NOTE: on occasion you may need to work on a Saturday. This position is considered essential personnel with appropriate responsibilities Job Requirements • Experience in the Custodial Field with prior work history as a supervisor or manager • Ability to lead, guide and direct others while keeping employee moral high • Knowledge and skills with Smart Phones and technology for use of our Quality Control Program • Good writing and communication skills • Must be personable with an attitude that motivates others • Experience with various kinds of cleaning equipment • CDL with a clean driving record * Ability to pass background * Long term employment and reliable Benefits: * 1 week of vacation after 1 year of employment * Sick leave * Company uniform/company vehicle/company cell phone * 401(k) after 1 year of employment * Paid holidays * Medical benefits
