Seeking candidates to work for an Inventory Accounting Service, i.e. a company that sends crews to a variety of stores, warehouses, etc. to count their inventory. Higher starting wage for those who have worked for another inventory service, which is a very specific industry. Paid training if no experience. Duties and Responsibilities: We provide all transportation. Two pickup points in the KC area where we meet. Our crews count grocery stores, retail stores, pharmacies and warehouses, among other businesses. We use scanning equipment for the most part to deliver itemized lists of what's on hand in a store, along with its dollar value. We also have a specialized crew that counts hospital pharmacies periodically throughout the year, traveling to Miami, Seattle, LA, Portland, Salt Lake City, etc. Those that excel on the retail side are potential candidates for the hospital crew. Qualifications: Must physically be able to use a two step ladder, have full mobility of arms and legs for getting down on your knees for bottom shelves while holding a scanner. Must have own transportation to get to our meeting places. Must be math oriented. Salary: Starting pay at $14 per hour, negotiation available for EXPERIENCED counters. Salary review after first 7 days worked. Tax free Meal Money for travel nights: $25 for Retail Inventories. Hotel rooms provided on trips. Company pays all other travel costs. Health Insurance available for those that qualify. Quick reviews and raises based on skill, attendance and accepting jobs when we need the most help. Work Hours: 20-30 hours a week average for most of the year. We DO NOT work all night, but do start early, early in the day. Usually done by 3 p.m. or so. Travel in KS, MO and NE averaging 2-3 nights at a time. Hospital trips usually one week average. Hospital crew is closer to full time.
