Swimming Pool Technician (Pyle's Pools)
compensation: $27 per hour

Job Duties: Pyle's Pools is looking to hire experienced pool technicians. Technicians responsible for a route of 8-10 commercial swimming pools per day. Responsibilities include cleaning swimming pools, maintaining chemical controllers, oversee maintenance and upkeep of pump baskets, backwashing pools, testing water, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash containers, and straightening pool deck furniture. Some lifeguarding or pool monitoring in additional to daily service may be required toward the end of pool season.
Qualifications: 1 year of commercial pool experience preferred. Must have a valid driver's license, no exceptions. Must be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must be able to physically lift up to 40 lbs. and swim. Must be willing to work long days in preseason and during open pool season.
Benefits: Unlike many seasonal companies, we employee our technicians year-round! If you can prove to us you're willing to work hard and perform to our standards during the summer months, we will extend a salary position to you in the fall. We offer excellent medical, vision, and dental insurance for our employees, as well as a generous 401K program. During our off season, our technicians work three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday). The service department closes for one week over Thanksgiving and two weeks over Christmas. Employees earn one week of vacation for each year of service, maxing out at four weeks of vacation.
