This person will manage a small group of people and inspect welds and fabrication. Requirements • Minimum of 2 year relevant experience preferred • 2+ years of Supervisory experience • Basic knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 drafting standards (read and interpret blueprints) to produce parts and assemblies • Fluent in Creation of Shop Drawings • Experience and demonstrated success Fabrication, Fitting and Welding of precision work pieces and assemblies with tight tolerances • MIG and TIG welding experience (including structural steel (>1” thick), sheet metal (steel), aluminum profile, aluminum plate) • Welding certification is required. • Experience in the fabrication of fixtures required for fitting and assembly of the final work piece • Experience in the setup of test or other structural equipment preferred • Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines • Remain engaged, proactive and positive in tough circumstances, owning assignments and taking full accountability for their success • Maintain flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments, coping with rapidly changing information • Work efficiently and productively in independent and team settings • Work in a team environment and assist team members, as needed • Communicate clearly using excellent written and verbal skills • Work with attention to detail while maintaining a clean and organized workspace • Must be able to stay in compliance with all inspection forms. • Must be bilingual.
