We are an engineering firm that designs and manufactures storage system for over 50 years. We service institutions throughout the United States and internationally. Our office in Newport, RI provides planning, sales, installation, and after-sales services for our clients in the US and Canada. We are currently seeking additional installers to assist us with our installations throughout the United States. We install and service the finest equipment in the industry and seek employees who have a commitment to quality work. This position requires travel and the hours are project-dependent. A typical installation can be 1 to 3 weeks long. Travel arrangements, accommodations and per diem will be supplied. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Previous experience with steel construction preferred • 2-years' experience in commercial or industrial environments preferred • Experience working on lifts, ladders and staging • Read engineering or architectural plans • Field measure • Must be able to work independently and as part of a crew. • Safety on the job site at all times Benefits: • Part-time position • Competitive wages based on experience, paid by the hour • Many hours during installation, then extended time off • Workmen’s comp and liability insurance
