See Job Description Below: Job Title/ Position: Maintenance Technician I Reports To: Owners/ Car Wash Management Job Description Summary: The maintenance tech is responsible for the daily general maintenance of all of the car washes as assigned. Providing outstanding customer service should be of the highest priority while keeping the premises well maintained and clean at all times. Essential Job Duties: Daily Duties: Assist with any and all Customer Questions and Concerns Wash Bays (Including Shoveling of Mud) Sweeping Lot Emptying All Trash Wiping down Vacuum and Bay hoses Cleaning around Vacuum islands Check Vending Levels- Notification of Supervisor if needed re-stocked Snow Removal Check Levels of Soaps Securing/ locking of all doors Cleaning of all other surfaces/ equipment as needed Report and repair car wash equipment failures Weekly Duties: Emptying of Vacuum Containers Communication: Daily communication with supervising technician to know daily expectations. Weekly communication with office management for all payroll and shift requirements. In poor weather, it is an expectation that the maintenance tech checks in with the office first thing in the morning for the assignment that day. Additional Duties: Due to the nature of the car wash industry, additional duties may be assigned daily. Position Qualifications: Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, and problem solving skills. Prolonged walking or standing. Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, soaps, trash, mud and supplies. Considerable shoveling, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, or crouching. Must possess a current Driver's license, have current auto insurance, reliable transportation, and live in the immediate area.
