POSITION DESCRIPTION: Perform a variety of handyman tasks which ensure the acceptable cleanliness and appearance of the exterior/interior of various organization properties; delivery and pick up services; assist the Maintenance Manager with more difficult maintenance/facilities improvement projects, and other duties as required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: • maintain appearance of building exteriors including landscaping • pressure wash of sidewalks and parking areas • remove snow and apply ice control measures • paint interior/exterior of buildings • operate forklift • operate truck for pick up and delivery of donated items • perform various cleaning functions including windows, doors, pallets, and trash pick-up • building interior repairs PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • regular long periods of standing • frequent movements required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers • occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
