Maintenance/Facilities Upkeep Position

Divine Savior Academy is searching for the right person to provide maintenance and facilities upkeep on our beautiful new campus. This would be a full-time position, 7:00 - 3:30, Monday through Friday. Duties & Tasks: • Regularly changing HVAC filters • Changing out light bulbs as needed • Various minor repairs as needed • Painting and touch-up as directed • Assembling furniture/shelving, etc. according to directions • Emptying trash cans as needed • Sweeping & mopping restrooms and hallways as needed • Cleaning lunchroom after lunch including tables, chairs, floors, and trash • Restocking paper towels and toilet paper dispensers when needed. • Cleaning up spills when necessary • Window cleaning as needed • Other odd jobs when necessary Professional Qualities: • Respond to all internal & external customers as it relates to this position in a prompt, efficient, and cooperative manner • Function effectively as a team member • Be responsible, reliable, and punctual • Be flexible to changing needs • Positively accept direction • Maintain a courteous and cooperative working relationship • Exercise a positive problem-solving behavior • Adhere to the dress code appropriate to the site and job • Be a positive role model • Work with a large cross section of people in a professional and non-judgmental manner • Have a servant’s heart Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • Vision and hearing adequate to exercise job responsibilities in a safe manner • Handy in a variety of challenges Physical Requirements: Positions in this classification typically require stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, standing, walking, sitting, heavy lifting, manual dexterity, balance, coordination, speaking, hearing, seeing, focus ability or other factors applicable for the job.
