Are you 23 or older, have a good driving record, and have an interest in professional driving? Can you work with little to no supervision, be independent and still perform to standards? Would you like to eventually drive semis? Then this gig might be for you. Females strongly encouraged to apply as the male domination in the cargo van and tractor trailer business has in my view produced a lot of bad results. You would drive a cargo van out of Kenosha area into the Chicago area to pick up and deliver various commercial freight, from one parcel stops to a full skid of commercial items of all sorts, using an app on your phone. There would be additional trips in any given month in support of my semi business as well as for some of my high end clients (such as artwork, for example). Your pay will be divided between a base pay and a percentage of every trip you book and complete properly, as well as special pay for one-off trips unrelated to the app in support of my other clients and my semi truck business. Please do not contact me if any of the following apply to you: -you cannot pass a drug test and cannot pass random drug tests when the computer selects your name from the pool; -if you have any of the following convictions or pending charges: any alcohol related, any violent or property crimes, any drug crimes; -if you believe “bending” driving rules is okay (e.g. “I don’t speed, I only drive 5 over” - that’s still speeding and moving violations no matter how small are dangerous and hike my commercial insurance cost) -if dragging along a child, boyfriend, girlfriend or other such people is something you expect or will want; this is a professional opportunity not anything else. The right candidate will have the opportunity to learn this business and eventually move up into professional passenger and semi-truck transportation.
