This is a 1099 Position Pay: $20 to $28 per hour Company Description: We are a luxury apartment complex renovation company that renovates and maintains apartment complexes across the Valley. We are looking for a skilled and hard-working Handyman who will share our company’s highest standard of workmanship to join our team. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and providing our clients with an exceptional experience on every project. Your job responsibilities will include the renovation and maintenance of the unit interiors as well as the upgrading of luxury apartment complexes common areas and exteriors. Job Duties: • Good overall knowledge of most trades: Rough Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Tiling, Painting, HVAC, and Drywall • Ability to work well independently as well as with others • Repair plumbing, electrical, and safety systems in tenants’ units as required • Ability to look at a problem and provide a prompt and professional solution • Complete assigned tasks to the Company’s workmanship standard and professionalism • Keep work area safe and clean for clients, fellow team members and yourself Required Equipment and Truck/Van: • Must have a standard set of tools to perform most trades • Must own your own truck or van with a valid driver's license and insurance • Must live within Phoenix Metro area Excellent Communication Skills • Customers • Management • Office Personnel • Fellow Employees • Documentation (for Invoicing) • Some technology skills required on computer and smart-phone Presentable • Presentable vehicle • Organized tools Education • High school diploma or equivalent • Trade school or journeyman experience very helpful Experience • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in one or more trades Background Check • Must be able to pass a background check • Willing to submit to random drug testing
