Havas STREET is hiring Brand Ambassadors/Sales Reps based in Long Island for Memorial Day weekend to represent a major alkaline/high pH water brand for a hybrid guerrilla street sampling/in-store demo program! The ideal candidates will have guerrilla sampling experience or some experience in beverage sampling/serving. We are a marketing agency that focuses on developing brand activations outside of traditional advertising that creates a more personal connection between a brand and its key consumer. We do so by encouraging in-person product trials or by providing fun incentives for consumers in order to convert sales. Havas STREET's recruiting team is responsible for fulfilling staffing needs for promotional events that include: street teams, guerilla sampling and off/on premise. Pay rate: $24/hr (before taxes, W2 employee) Shifts: - Thursday, 5/27: 1PM – 3PM (Southampton: Guerrilla at Cooper’s Beach and product drop-offs) - Friday, 5/28: 10AM – 3PM (Bridgehampton: guerrilla at Trout Pont Park, Elizabeth A. Morton National Wildlife refuge and product drop-offs) - Saturday, 5/29: 10AM-3PM (Montauk: guerrilla near The Surf Lodge, Ditch Plains, Montauk County Park & product drop offs) - Sunday, 5/30: 10AM-3PM (Westhampton: guerrilla Cupsogue Beach Country Park, Rogers Beach, Westhampton Jutney & product drop offs) What to expect: - Assist with set-up and breakdown of booth and assets, or footprint - Shifts include guerrilla street sampling, product drop-offs, and in-store demos and are held at local accounts (stores/studios/fitness locations/surf shops/etc.) - Work as a team in distributing full product samples or premiums/giveaways to consumers in order to bring brand awareness, meet KPIs, and meet sampling goal - Engage and educate consumers in a positive, friendly, and professional manner; some data capturing involved in order to encourage consumers in joining brand newsletter - Complete event recap and timesheet in a timely manner - Be willing to abide by and enforce CDC guidelines as needed (mask and gloves provided as well as 6 ft social distancing measures in place) Essentials: - Prior guerrilla street team experience or beverage sampling experience - Have flexible availability throughout Memorial Day weekend - Have reliable transportation to-and-from events - Comfortable working on feet and outdoors throughout shifts - Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs - Be willing to abide by and enforce CDC guidelines as needed (mask and gloves provided as well as 6 ft social distancing measures in place) If interested, please reply with your name, current resume, and your preferred dates!
